'Over the fence, to the other side of the World'

Fantastic exhibition by Nuclear Curator and team using the BNTVA archives and items from his father's collection relating to the Uk Nuclear bomb tests in Australia and at Christmas Island. A wealth of detail, unique items and photographs links with Australian art created by descendants of the veterans. A personal favourite is the Tennants Extra can top branded for the Nuclear tests. The story of the ordinary servicemen who were there is counterpointed by the heartbreaking proof that the government covered up the health risks involved and spent decades avoiding responsibility
